On March 8, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first National Creators Award at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, recognizing outstanding contributions across various fields. This initiative aims to celebrate creative impact and innovation, acting as a catalyst for positive change. The event highlighted 23 awardees, including three international creators, across 20 categories.

Awardees and Their Contributions:

  • New India Champion: Abhi and Niyu were recognized for transforming dry facts into engaging content, significantly impacting critical domains.
  • Best Storyteller: Keerthika Govindhasamy was awarded for her compelling fusion of history and storytelling, which inspires interest in India’s heritage among youth.
  • Disruptor of the Year: Ranveer Allahbadia received acclaim for his initiatives to combat sleep deprivation and promote health.
  • Green Champion: Pankti Pandey was honored for advocating sustainable practices like waste management and natural farming.
  • Best Creative for Social Change: Jaya Kishori, praised for her modern interpretations of traditional epics, instills cultural values in the younger generation.
  • Most Impactful Agri Creator: Lakshya Dabas was recognized for his use of technology to enhance agricultural practices and promote natural farming.
  • Cultural Ambassador of the Year: Maithili Thakur was acknowledged for her efforts in promoting traditional Indian music across multiple languages.
  • Best International Creator: Kili Paul, Drew Hicks, and Cassandra Mae Spittmann were celebrated for their significant contributions to Indian culture through their creative work.
  • Best Travel Creator: Kamiya Jani was recognized for promoting India’s beauty and diversity, emphasizing support for local economies.
  • Tech Creator: Gaurav Chaudhary was awarded for making technology more accessible and supporting the Digital India initiative.
  • Swachhata Ambassador: Malhar Kalambe was honored for his leadership in environmental clean-up initiatives and raising awareness on plastic pollution.
  • Heritage Fashion Icon: Jahnvi Singh promoted traditional Indian textiles and fashion, highlighting the elegance of Indian fabrics.
  • Best Creative Creators: Shraddha and RJ Raunac (Bauaa) were recognized in their respective categories for bringing humor to serious topics and for contributions to the radio industry.
  • Best Creator in Food Category: Kabita Singh was celebrated for her culinary skills and advocacy for traditional Indian cooking.
  • Best Creator in Education Category: Naman Deshmukh was honored for his educational content on technology, finance, and safe surfing practices.
  • Best Health and Fitness Creator: Ankit Baiyanpuria was recognized for his dedication to fitness, including his participation in health promotion campaigns with the PM.
  • Gaming Creator: Nischay Malhan (Triggered Insaan) was acknowledged for his impact within the gaming community.
  • Best Micro Creator: Aridaman was honored for his focus on Vedic astronomy and ancient wisdom.
  • Best Nano Creator: Piyush Purohit was awarded for his work showcasing India’s lesser-known cultural aspects.
